Re-imagining the Sun: The hayang ritual
The packaging design for Te's new sunscreen departs from the conventional stereotype of
the sun as a menace responsible for UV rays and photoaging. Instead, it reinterprets the
sun as a witty companion for coexistence, turning a daily skincare routine into a playful visual experience.

Breaking away from standard tubes and sun sticks, the product features an ergonomic
curvature that fits comfortably in the hand. When closed, the glossy white container
presents a unique silhouette reminiscent of a smooth egg or a mysterious planet, acting as a tactile interior object.

The true highlight unfolds the moment the cap is removed: a vibrant orange, semi-
circular aperture is revealed like a morning sun rising over the horizon. By shifting
the user's action from evading the sun to welcoming it with joy, this dramatic visual twist
elevates simple product usage into an emotional and sensory ritual.
